Friday Stories

One of the things that pisses me off the most are the taxi drivers who don’t know the fastest and trafficless way to get to my destination. And they still have the nerve to ask me what route to take. Since that’s their profession, aren’t they supposed to know it in order to provide the best customer service? :p

On to happier things. :)

It’s Friday already! Yey! Looking forward to mall visit after a whole day meeting with the client. Uber excited to be off from work :D even though I forsee work this weekend :p.

Meeting with client so far is relaxed and less stressful. No raised voices, no competing with talk time, no cutting while you’re talking hehehe. I wish it would be this way as often as possible.

Looking forward to a run this Sunday but to be able to do that, I should be in UP tomorrow morning for the registration. So it’s up to me still wahaha.

Still an addict with FB’s My Farm…I’m one hapy farmer :D. Can’t wait to harvest tonight hehehe.

Have a nice weekend everyone!

The Big Night

No, it’s not about PBB. It’s just that Friday night was a big night for the triumvirate of the team. It was just supposed to be just a sumptuous dinner and chilling with the team but apparently, it was not. I don’t want to elaborate further. Suffice to say that the event sucked all of our energy and left us with negative and ill feelings after. As a result, I temporarily disconnected myself from the rest of the world this weekend – personal and office phones remain untouched and away from me, on silent mode, except when I had to text a colleague and a friend, minimal internet, no meet ups with friends. I just had a quick visit to the mall and for the rest of the weekend, I was a bum at home.

But much as I’d like to be on hiatus a little longer, I can’t. Anyway, I have a few more hours. I’ll reconnect full time later.

Now, I’m wondering what happens this morning. But still, I’m hoping for the best, and for world peace hehehe.

On a positive note, once again, I’ve proven that our director is supportive of us :).

The Rookie

I just finished watching that movie in a local channel and it made me shed some tears :p. It’s a story about a boy who wanted so much to play baseball but his dad’s work required them to transfer from place to place until eventually, they settled in Texas where baseball was not known. Some years later, when he already had a family and is teaching high school, an opportunity came for him to play baseball. He joined the try out and eventually was able to become part of the league. It is a feel good movie.

It also made me realize that your dreams stay with you forever even if you set it aside for other priorities or maybe because the situation calls for it. But someday, you may be given opportunities where you can pursue it finally. And you only have two options, whether to go for it this time or let the opportunity pass and wonder about all the “what ifs”.

Lastly, I pray that I would be able to support all my future kids’ dreams. :)
