Holiday 2009

I am so glad that I was able to take a break from work this year. Now, I am at home since December 23. I went home with only the following on my list: meet with Jen and visit Riza, movie date with the kids, gimik with teenager cousins, weed the flowers and have some rest. Now, my social calendar is almost full. Errr…Lookie…
  • December 24: store keeper while Mama went to town for groceries. Went to town in late afternoon to do some personal shopping :)
  • December 25: simple salo-salo at home with some relatives. Baby sat my new niece as well for most of the day :)
  • December 26-27: attend a reunion (mother’s side). Do some home supplies shopping before heading back home.
  • December 28 AM: movie date with nieces and nephews
  • December 28 PM: gimik with teenager cousins
  • January 1: Lunch with relatives at home. As always :p
  • January 2: Go back to Manila
  • January 3: Chill...get ready for the first workday of the year! How about a short run at UP D? Hmm...we'll see about that :p
Have yet to schedule:

  • Visit Riza
  • Tutor Aiza
  • Weed the flowers
  • Load more MP3s in my Ipod
  • Sleep????
What I love about being home is that the time is oh so very slow. :) I feel I can do a lot of things the whole day. Just today, I was able to wash some clothes and fix my things after my cousins left. And then of course the whether. :)

The downside? There’s no fast internet connection. I’m only using Smart Bro prepaid. The speed is that of a dial up connection. So no YouTube for now. Also, we’ve got poor signal for ABS-CBN. Can’t watch PBB huhuhu. Miss ko na Melason moments :(. I miss my big TV and its clear TV signal :p. Oh well, I know I can’t have it all. Of course I’m more glad to be at home. :D

Again, happy birthday bro! :)

Striking a Balance

Fourth year high school was one of the times where I had to do a major decision – select a course. I initially wanted to be an environmental scientist but one of my teachers negated because I am a girl daw. Another choice was to take up Agricultural Engineering since my family’s main and only source of income is farming and through that course, I maybe able to learn new techniques in farming. But then again, I wanted something different, totally new from what I was doing all my life so that my knowledge won’t be all about agriculture. And so to satisfy this longing, I chose Computer Science since I knew then that after graduation, there’s no other option for me but to plunge into the corporate world.

So yes, after graduation, I became a slave of the corporate world. But no, I did not forget my old life. During the first few years, I still worked in the farm whenever I was home. I felt the balance then.

But eventually, I was not doing anything farming related anymore. There were a lot of times where I would go home without even stepping into the farm. I became wrapped up with all the stuff that the corporate world has to offer. I became busy climbing up the ladder. It became more stressful. Several times, I came to a point where I find myself missing the farm. And lately, the desire to re-experience my life at the farm became stronger. So I’ve decided to do some farming. My brother and I will start planning when I go home for the holidays. I’m excited. :D

Melason Fever Over!

I have never been this hooked to previous PBB seasons. Only now and only because of Jason and Melissa or Melason. Hay! Sobrang kilig to the max. At talaga naman, puyat kung puyat makapanood lang ng livestream wahahaha. I love love love their date-all of it- from the C4 dressed as ninjas climbing up the wall to Melay and Jason’s goodbye hug and kiss. Hindi pa sila naging sila ha. Ayaw muna nila. Paglabas na lang daw at tuloy daw ang MOA nila yihee!

These two have great chemistry. And they are so real! This is I guess the main reason why many people became their fans. Jason is so amazing and smart! Alam nyang artificial environment lang ang bahay ni kuya kaya ayaw pa nyang umabot sa bf-gf ang relationship nila. Magbestfriend lang daw muna sila. Then paglabas, pag-uusapan uli nila. At “I miss you” lang daw muna, wag “I love you”.

Hay! Sobrang kilig to the highest level talaga hehehe. Can’t get over it pa rin hehehe. Over!

Lord, pa-clone naman po si Jason please? :D

Sorry, just blabbering here. If you want to know more, just search for PBB Double Up. I’m sure there are a lot of better write ups hehe.

Ok, off to YT to watch their date again hihi.

25 Days

Merry Christmas! It’s 25 days to go before His birthday! Wow, that was sooooo fast :D. I’m not too stressed about parties this year as we don’t have the usual annual company party. They’ll only give out gift baskets this year in consideration of the global recession. So no party clothes shopping for me today. Relieved :D.

Nothing special feelings for the upcoming holidays. I am just excited about the long break which I’m hoping to have. Tutal naman last year, taong opisina talaga ako at di ko man lang nagamit yung mga naipon kong in lieue. So I’m hoping that this year, I’ll be home for Christmas.

I have one special wish though. I fervently wish and pray that next year will be the year that I’ll finally meet you, my Gilbert Blythe. :)
