Everyday is a blessing

Everyday is a blessing – a reminder to me, and to others who sometimes tend to focus on the day’s lowlights instead of going beyond these lowlights to find the highlights.

Everyday is a blessing – let’s start counting our daily blessings. There are a lot…if only we discern some more.

Everyday is a blessing – let’s be grateful.

Everyday is a blessing – let’s be a blessing to everyone, simply because we are part of this “everyday”. :)

Just tired

This is not a rant. Just plain tired. Been working long hours this week and it’s taken its toll on me this early, on Thursday hehehe. Usually I do last until the weekend but not this week wahahaha. Oh well. Hopefully I’ll bounce back tomorrow…even if it’s already Friday hehehe.

Oh there’s the good news. HR has already confirmed the correctness of the MYC data. Now we can update the records, validate that it reflects in the systems, wait for HR’s confirmation again, and FINALLY unlock the database. Weee! A few more minutes and I’m off for some chillin’. :p

With You

I'm happy and thankful for I had the opportunity to spend time with you no matter how limited it was.

No, I'm not expecting anything. I'm just enjoying the moment...and life itself. :)

Don't push

I know I’m not your ideal girl but please don’t push me to someone else, especially now that you’re still my ideal man…

It’s 80% Go!

We have a project that’s supposed to be implemented in the next few weeks. But due to its complexity and the many prepartions that the concerned teams (including ours) need to do before implementation, the project team set up a criteria for us to help evaluate if it’s a Go or No Go with the deployment. Of course I’ve always wanted it to be a Go.

Today is the review of those criteria…today is the Go or No Go day. So the project team met up to review the criteria and see if everything has been met, or if not, will these items still be addressed before implementation? After a tiring but fulfilling discussion, it’s 80% Go! And the 20% is for the confirmation of some items which the two teams still need to resolve. Yey!

It was a buzzer beater again for our team for the sign off of the modules that are included in the Go No Go decision. Last night, we have one item for confirmation from the client, and this morning, they raised another issue which we had to address as quickly as possible. I endorsed it right away to the Engineer in charge and had to rush to the meeting. When I was in OSMA, I learned from Gelo that the client is already signing off so we excitedly waited for the email confirmation. Whew! Now, everything’s a yes for our team’s criteria hehehe.

There were three directors in today’s meeting and it’s funny to see them make fun of each other hehehe. But when it comes to the discussions, they are quick to make comments, verify things or make decisions right then and there. Maybe that’s one of the things that make them directors. Having meetings with them is a good way of observing how directors think.

After evaluation of criteria of the two teams, it seems that the project team is already on a positive note so we did not have to present our team’s criteria anymore. We only had to present the business continuity plan. I was shocked and my sleepiness flew out of me when Gelo told me it was my turn to speak. Ugh! I knew I was going to present, but still I almost freaked out hahaha. We’ll convene again Tuesday next week for the final assessment. :)

Anyway, so there! We are good to go. Thanks team for all the hard work. We are now towards the end. Let’s enjoy the last leg of the journey! I know it was a rough start and journey for all of us but we’re still here standing…emerging victorious in this challenge! :) Tara nang magdeploy! :)

And so, hello long weekend of sleep and vanity hehehe!

Dress code of the day: anything green! But one director came in pink-almost red blouse, and she was the reason for the 20%…hehehe.

Maliwanag pa!

Would you believe that I was already home at this time? Hehehe. I don’t remember the last time I went home this early, or if I ever had one for the previous months. But then, here I am already in the comfort of my little living space, starting out the long weekend hehhe. Well, we had to prepare for today’s meeting so I haven’t slept all night and going back to KPT after that draining but fulfilling meeting was impossible because I was already starting to do a headbang in front of the directors hehehe. So, after sending out some emails to the team, I called it a day. :)

The bank

I passed by BDO this morning to deposit a check but iunfortunately I wasn't able to complete the transaction for the sole reason that they can't get my account number from their database. I was told that I can only get my account number from my branch of account. I argued that one teller from the Broadway branch was able to give it to me after providing her with my EPCI account number. The teller informed me that they have a new system implemented where they are restricted to check accounts from other branches. They're not centralized anymore. Ok fine! Just to be sure I verified that if I already have my account number with me, can I still deposit the check in that branch? She said yes. If so, how are they going to validate the correctness of the account number that I'll be placing in the deposit slip then? Duh! Nuninuninu. The analyst in me is still in slumber that's why I was not quick enough to bombard the teller with questions hehe. But what's with my account number anyway? I simply forgot to write it down hehe. I'm used to having trnasactions online that I didn't bother to memorize it ahihi. But now I'm definitely writing it down wehehe.

While waiting in line for my turn, I saw their announcement about the new interest rates for Peso Savings Account effective April 1, 2009. It's now 0.625 % per annum. Yep, that low. And their motto is “We find ways.”. They find ways to make interests lower? Hehehe. Dyok onli!

Ganyan talaga paminsan-minsan.
So positive thoughts lang. Ok? And go for GO!
*****
Yes, go for GO! ang motto ko ngayon. Ang tawag doon ay Go-No Go meeting. So why prolong it di ba?
Dory moment. Ikaw, may Dory moment ka ba?
*****
*****
Marami palang nangyari kahapon? Hehehe. Hmmm. Eventful.
*****
Break mode ako ngayon kaya ako nakadalaw dito. :p

Akalain mo

May mga buttons syempre yung dialog box (like Save, Cancel, etc.). After kong makagawa ng new profile, nakalimutan ko na yung screenshot ko. Akalain mong nung nakita ko yun after a while e ina-attempt kong i-click yung Cancel wahahaha. Amp.

I finally was able to submit my bank documents to HR after almost errr...2 months because of my 2008 ITR which was not available when they released it last April grrrr!

Anyway, this is just the perfect time for that naman eh. Galing talaga ni Lord magset ng timing. :)

* Crossing my fingers that it will be approved. And sana madagdagan din hihihi. *
