Lea My Life…On Stage!

Anne and I watched her concert last night. It was my first time to watch her concert. She was simply amazing. No wonder she’s an international star. I was starstruck. I was smiling during the entire show. No dull moments.

As the title implies, the concert is about her life on stage, from her humble beginnings to her success in the international scene and of course her love life! J Her songs were very well selected. Her guests include people whom she has worked with for the past years, and also Aga Mulach. Her stint with Aga was so much fun. They were funny together hahaha. I guess part of their dialogues were already spontaneous and not part of the script. I love love love it.

For those who weren’t able to catch it live, better check it out on TV. I guess ABS-CBN will be airing it soon. It’s worth it.

Now I can’t wait for Cinderalla, and I like to buy all her albums too! Har har har. (Hi to all my friends! Wahahaha)

Tree planting

When: May 24-25, 2008
Where: Bangkong Kahoy, Brgy. Kinabuhayan, Quezon

Pagkatapos ng pagpapakasaya sa mga outdoor activities, activity with a cause naman so nag-tree planting kami sa bangkong kahoy. Sat-Sun yung it pero dahil may iba pa kaming lakad ni Anne ng Sat, sumunod na lang kami ng sunday. Muntik pang maging alanganin dahil sa issue sa paylink. Buti na lang ok na by 3 AM.

Anyway, umalis kami ng Manila ng 4:30 AM, nakarating kami sa San Pablo, Laguna ng 6 AM. Sumakay kami ng jeep papuntang Kinabuhahayan Quezon pero tumawag ang POC na sa Dolores Munisipyo na lang daw kami susunduin ng hammer so doon dapat kami bababa. Sa kasamaang palad, nalagpasan namin yung munisipyo so kailangan naming bumalik. Malman-laman namin later on, dadaan din naman pala sa Dolores Church yung hammer (kung san kami unang bumaba para bumalik sa munisipyo.) E di sana don na ang kami nagpasundo. Baka nakapagsimba pa kami habang naghihintay.

Nakarating kami sa campsite aound 9 AM na. Kain agad then orientation na for the tree planting. Narra pala ang tinanim namin. Tapos after 30 years pa raw bago maging marketale yung puno. Grabe ganon katagal. May pinakita yung DENR personnel na plan for the area na tatamnan. Combination yun ng planted trees, bamboos, vegetation, at grasses that naturally grow in the area. Ffter ng orientation, tanim na gad. Si manong ang naglinis ng mga damo sa taniman at taga gawa ng butas na pagtatamnan. Iniaabot na lang namin yung punla at sya na rin nagtatanim. Wahaha. Corny.

After ng tree planting, free time namin yun until the time ng pagbalik sa manila. Dahil halos wala akong tulog the night before, mas ginusto ko nang matulog kaysa mag-explore. Nung una, sa duyan pa kami natulog (sarap dito) kaso umulan kaya kinailangan naming pumasok sa kubo. Syempre nakisquat na lang kami sa kama at natulog uli. Nagising na lang kami nung malapit nang mag-uwian ahihi.

Yung iba sa amin, nakapagrapelling, nakapunta sa isang falls at may isa pang activity na di ko alam tawag. Parang flying something. Ewan.

My tree's name? Hmm...Myra na nga lang, short for Mylene's narra. Wag nang kumontra. Wala na ako ibang maisip. Sana mabisita pa uli namin in the future yung mga tinanim namin. At sana buhay pa ang si Myra by then hehe.

Team building

When: May 17-18, 2008
Where: Splash Mountin, Pansol Laguna

It's team builing time again. Meeting place was at OSMA. Upon arrival at the resort, we headed straight to the dining area for lunch. After a short rest, we had an ativity at 3 PM. Due to uneven number in the grouping, I was not assigned in either team. So i just enjoyed watching my teammates play, capturing funny moments, and sometimes bullying some of them hehe. After the game, it was free time until dinner. There are other options to do like swimming, badminton, basketball, etc. I and my girl teammates people watched (but actually, it's more of person watchig ahihi). Our team played cranium. We had three groups. The mechanics of the game is actually easy but most of the questions are hard. We lost huhu pero di naman kami ang pinaka-kulelat :p.

After dinner, may short program pa uli. There’s the awwarding of the IT achieveds, another game (this time, kasama na ako and our team won yifee!), and a message from our director.

Here’s a summary the activities' messages and of his speech:

• Always communicate
• Listen well to instructions
• Everybody's equal. No one's more and superior than the other.
• When with concerns, you can just approach the director

After the program, it's party time! We tried the pool. The water was hot. Sarap. Galing daw talaga yun sa hotspring. We also had videoke and of course drinking session hehe. I just had 1 beer though. More than that kasi, ayaw ko na yung pakiramdam kinabukasan.

The following morning, some of my teammates tried the slides. Ako ayaw ko na kasi maiinit yung tubig sa shower so ayaw ko na maligo pa uli. Nagvolunteer akong kumuha ng pics pero nung kalaunan, naging yaya na rin kami ni Emie kasi kami ang tagabitbit ng mga gamit nila habang sila ay nagpapakasaya sa slides. Anyway, nakakatuwa rin naman silang panoorin hehe.

By 12 NN, checkout na. Lunch na lang along the way.

This was one of the happiet team buildings for me. Maraming nangyari na nakakatuwa talaga at not so much efforts pa yun hehe. Basta nangyayari na lang. minsan nga nagugulat na lang ako ahihi. Ok, enough said. Basta masaya. Until Monday, di pa ako makawork mabuti kasi nagrereminisce pa ako hehehe. Wish kolang sana lahat nakasama. Oh well, maybe next time.

Mark this day!

I’d just like to mark this day. Wala lang. Masaya lang kasi. On the spur of the moment, nakabili ako ng mga gagamitin ko sa bago kong apartment hehehe. Excited na tuloy akong lumipat. Thanks Je and Ardee sa pagsama! :D

Pero actually, kaya ko talaga minamark tong araw na ‘to dahil kay C-o-e wahahaha. Makre!!!! Anover! Wahahaha! May ganun? Hihihi!

The search is over

Yes the long search for an apartment where I can transfer is over as of tonight! Finally, nakahanap na rin ako ng malilipatan wuhoooo! After 8 long years, I’m saying goodbye to Makati. By May 11, tiga-QC na ako. Sana magustuhan ko ang pagtira don hehehe.

Sana lang makahanap pa ako ng time para sa blog entry ng Davao trip ahihi.
